The first amateur radio club I joined, and the individuals who gave me my exam. Your club might be different, but there is likely a local club you can find. Use the main ARRL site to find yours.

This is an awesome resource. Radio operators that use digital modes enable an option to report information about stations they are receiving. You can send a signal out and see which stations were able to hear it in each direction.
